Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Supply and delivery of flashing long range LED marine beacons for a once off period. Specifications: Supply and delivery of solid-state light source designed to replace traditional lighthouse lamps in classical lighthouse optics with the following characteristics: - The optics shall be suitable for operation under conditions of high humidity, corrosive atmosphere, high temperature, dust and salt laden air; - Full specification of equipment tendered to accompany quotation and shall include prices for all programming or ancillary devices; - Must be capable of 256 IALA recommended flash characters; - Additional power supply units to be supplied; - IR programmer to be supplied for each lantern; - Lanterns to have GSM capabilities; - Lanterns to have Aton AIS Type 3 capabilities; - Lanterns must be supplied with bird spikes; - Quotation breakdown should indicate the lantern, power supply, freight costs and any ancillary equipment; - Rotating lanterns are not desirable for this application; - For the purposes of range calculations, transmissivity shall be fixed at 0.74; - Lanterns should have a warranty period of 3 years from date of delivery; - Connection diagrams to be supplied.
