Bids are hereby invited for the following: Leasing of ten (10) Upper Air Sounding systems and the supply of Radiosondes for a period of three (3) years. Scope of work: The South African Weather Service would like to appoint a service provider for the supply of Ten (10) Upper Air Sounding Systems with radiosondes for a period of three (3) years on an operating lease basis. Eight (8) of the ten (10) upper air systems must be installed and commissioned by the bidder at the following weather offices: 1. Technical Training to SAWS technicians must be provided at the time of installation and commissioning of the upper air systems at the Irene and the Cape Town Weather Office: 9. Gough Island: System must be delivered to: Cape Town Weather Office, Cape Town International Airport, ATNS Control Tower, Cape Town, 8000, installation: Will be installed and commissioned by SAWS technical personnel at Gough Island; 10.
