Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Supply of Corporate merchandise: • 3 Each x 3 x Bingo mascots; • 5 Each x Mascot repair kit; • 6 Each x Custom made mascot bags; • 5 Each x Cleaning kit; • 10 Each x Mascot transparent plastic shoes; • 50 Each x Various litter pieces. Specifications: • NB: delivery of the first Mascot to be the 26th or 27th of August 2024; • Introduction/context: For anything to change, someone somewhere has to start acting differently to the environment and that is one of the central messages in creating the mascot. Organizational change, community change, societal change all begin with individual behaviour change. Mascots are based on principles of social marketing, a field that draws on the behavioural sciences and uses techniques of commercial marketing to change behaviour to achieve a specific social goal. This new mascot called Bingo in our opinion is a novel elaboration of behavioural change. It is within this context that Urban Waste Management Solid Waste designed Bingo to fit to our core business and our strategic goals and objectives. This new mascot Bingo ensures the connectivity and consistency of those messages to the people. Also Bingo being a replica of our Green Bins allows ease of interface with the public as its presence as a Street Green Litter bin is everywhere to found on our street corners or attached to a lamp pole in the city; • Summary of deliverables: Mascots 3; Repair kit 5; Custom made Mascot bags (Rain resistant) 6; Cleaning kit 5; Transparent plastic shoe covers (For bad Cap weather conditions) 10; Various litter pieces: Banana peels: x 10 of the same sort, KFC box: x10 of the same sort , Chip packet: x10 of the same sort, Plastic bottle: x10 of the same sort, Tin: x10 of the same sort 50; • The Body: The existing Mascot is available for review with the main body parts. The main body is: 1. A one peace inclusive of the visual area; 2. Open area at top of bin to replicate litter disposal opening (to be discussed with vendor with regards to ventilation); 3. T-Shirts 5 pair in various sizes. White in colour. The top of the bin: The top of the bin must have an opening that will show how to deposit products like a cool drink tins, paper or any form of litter. On the body: Please request view of current mascot for this part of the mascot body. Velcro strips or any other straps to be applied on the body of the mascot to showcase the various litter products allowing for interactive education to happen. The litter pieces/products must be made from recyclable material and durable/robust for interactive learning. Hands, Legs and Shoes: Garments consisting of leggings for arms and legs: off yellow/mustard in colour, Yellow/mustard in colour; Gloves Hands, Shoes: feet to slip in colour black with white laces. The product should be easy to clean. Shoes soles must ensure for grip with a high density foam rubber shoes or current on the market and plastic covers for the shoes for bad weather conditions; The face and Front: Eyes: white eye ball with black pupil. Eyes should be happy. Smile: Minimal, No Logo, Bin message on white block for Front face of Bin, Custom made Mascot bags (Rain resistant), The Mascot bag to be manufactured so that it is easy to clean/wiped off. The material of the bag to be rain resistant. The zip type should be heavy duty to ensure longevity. Stitching to ensure longevity and avoid it coming loose. Shoe Colour to be black as indicated on the above mascot picture. Example Deliverables to Note: Cleaning materials to be supplied. Colours as per picture. Physical sample for approval on foot cover/cap to provided; Production: The project will commence on appointment of the service provider and must be completed within 3 weeks from date of an official purchase order; Quantities: Number of Mascots: Only 3.
