Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a service provider for HSE services to draft new and review the existing mine mandatory code of practices at Vlakfontein Mine. Scope of work: AEMFC intends to appoint a suitable service provider to provide Health and Safety services to facilitate the drafting of new Mine Code of Practices (MCOPs), review of expired MCOPs, and facilitating baseline risk review process and identification of significant risks for African Exploration Mining and Finance Corporation (SOC) LTD (“AEMFC”). AEMFC seeks to benefit from this partnership in the following ways: 1. Review the existing MCOPs for the following: Phase 1: (a) Rockfall and slope Instability MCOP; (b) Conveyor belt MCOP; (c) Occupational health programme for thermal stress MCOP; (d) Occupational health programme for noise MCOP; (e) PPE for women MCOP; 2. Draft new MCOPs for the following: Phase 1: (a) Emergency preparedness and response MCOP; (b) Minimum standard of fitness to perform work at a mine MCOP; (c) Management of Incapacity due to ill health or injury MCOP; (d) Risk-based fatigue management at mines MCOP; (e) Isolation and Lockout MCOP; (f) Prevention of fires at the Mines MCOP; (g) Prevention of flammable gas explosions in collieries MCOP; 3. Review the existing Baseline assessment: Phase 2: (a) Baseline risk review; (b) Identification of significant risk; 4. Training and Induction: (a) Once-off individual induction/training file review, electronic scanning, and filling i.e., 400 employee files; (b) Create a simple document management Archiving system for training/inductions records; (c) Develop a training matrix for mining, Engineering, and Plant employees i.e., 200 employees. Scope: The successful bidder is expected to provide a proposal on executing the following services: Phase 1 - Data Analysis to develop Audience Segments/ groupings; • Utilization of existing statistical/quantitative data collected through inter alia Parliament’s own multi-year primary research conducted on Public Perceptions and Stakeholder Satisfaction Surveys; • Distilling data into segments/ groups of audiences using numerous variables or determinants from Stats SA (geo-types), as well as the National Lifestyle Index (replacing LSM). Phase 3 - Conducting Research: • Conduct Qualitative research (in the form of interviews and/or workshops / webinars to gather information that would further enhance an understanding of Parliament Audience Segmentation). Phase 4 - Producing of Audience Segmentation Report, Research Report and PowerPoint Presentation: • Submit official Audience Segmentation Report including comprehensive Research Report and PowerPoint Presentation with recommendations on possible communication interventions to improve Parliament’s reach of the public and stakeholders in their diverse categories to enhance awareness, understanding, image, satisfaction, involvement, trust and confidence. 源: ONLINE TENDERS
