Re-advertisement: Bidders are hereby invited to bid for the Appointment of Service Provider for the Provision of Tyre Breakdown Services in the SADC Region for Autopax Passenger Services (SOC) Ltd (a subsidiary of PRASA) for a period of three (3) years. Scope of work: - The supplier must render roadside assistance with equipped vehicle for tyre breakdown repairs, 24 hours a day, 7-days a week and 365-days a year; - The supplier must provide calibration certificate for the tools used (torque wrench, gauges, etc); - Where the supplier does not have footprint, the bidder must make partnerships or alternative arrangements with close partners to adhere to quicker turnaround-time; - Turnaround time must be 3 hours for Metropolitan and rural areas; - All buses have the same tyre and rim size (315/80 R 22.5 and 9” rims); - Trailer tyre size - 265 /70/R19.5; - A service provider should keep a minimum of 2 x new tyres for breakdowns. Required at: - SADC Region - Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Malawi, Madagascar, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. - South Africa (All 9 Provinces).
