Rand Water Foundation (RWF) invites tenders for the following: Supply, deliver and install the following at Lethabo Site Offices: Scope: Supply all labour, material and equipment to install the Lethabo Pump Station Site Offices as detailed in the scope of work: - Phase 1: Preparation of the ground for placement of the porter camp, - Phase 2: Supply, delivery, and installation of porter Camp as per the drawing, - Phase 3: Supply, deliver and install office and kitchen furniture, - Phase 4: Connection to the site services (Electrical, potable water, and wastewater), - Phase 5: Supply, delivery, and assembling of office and kitchen furniture, - Phase 6: Paved Apron and Brick-up bottom of the porter camp to prevent sheltering of wildlife i.e. snakes, squirrels, and meerkats, - Phase 7: Covered and paved Carports. The porter camp offices and other buildings to be fully constructed with 3 set of keys for all locks and fitted with 2 off 48000 BTU inverter Split unit Air conditioner and accessories listed as part of the items. Supply, deliver and Install Porter Camp Offices: 11m long x 6m Wide with integrated Kitchenette: • Preparation of the ground/platform to position the porter camp, • The office space must have weather insulated painted walls, floor tiles, ceiling, doors and windows with burglar bars, and horizontal aluminum blinds, • Kitchenette to be ±2.5m long standard and ±2.5m width fitted with a wooden countertop, double sink, two drawers and two lower cupboards with shelves, Installation of the required plumbing and drainage system, • Supply, deliver and install 2 x flushing Toilets (Male & Female with labels): sewer system and plumbing to be connected to the existing sewer system. Installation of the toilets to be completed with privacy (frosted) windows and burglar bars. The toilet space must be fitted with 25L geyser, • Supply, deliver and install connection to the site electrical distribution board. Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Events Management Company. Scope of work: i) Marquee specifications: a. The marquee must be able to accommodate 150 persons seated, a stage, and have passages for movement; b. The service provider must build a shelter/roof surface and proper flooring opposite or adjacent to the marquee for guests" networking and finger lunch area; c. The main marquee must be an aluminium framed marquee; d. To provide a stage that can take 10 persons 3m x 10m (the height to be less than 1 meter); e. To level the floor area in both the marquee and the lunch area; f. To provide an intertwined plastic flooring material in both areas; g. To provide carpets for both floor areas; h. The service provider must appoint a qualified structural engineer to confirm if the marquee and the lunch area will be safe for use in times of climatic conditions on 20 March 2024; i. The service provider must adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety compliance regulations when executing the job; j. To provide signage and 6 x fire extinguishers (filled and within the recommended date of use); k. To provide a ramp for disabled persons to the marquee and the stage for people with disability; l. To provide 4 twin toilets (flushable), with hand wash system; m. The service provider must start building the marquee on Wednesday, 19 March 2024, and set up the furniture flooring, and décor no later than 07:00 am on 20 March 2024. ii) Furniture and decorations: a. To provide 150 padded chairs; b. To provide 15 plastic trestle tables and black fitting tablecloths (2 of the 8 tables to be used at the demonstration site); c. To provide 20 cocktail tables (be arranged at the lunch area); d. To provide 20 cocktail chairs (be arranged at the lunch area); e. To provide 20 black cocktail table covers; f. To provide 6 industrial air conditioners; g. To provide draping of the walls and the roof area of the main marquee in the DSI corporate colours (orange and sky blue); h. 6 x 1-metre size floral decorations (2 floral decors at the stage and the other 4 at the fresh flowers to be placed at the lunch area). iii) Stage, lectern, and audio-system visual system: a. To set up a 3m x 10m stage black frill or painted; b. To provide a transparent lectern; c. To provide an audio-visual system for speeches, and presentations, and to broadcast the demonstration at the main marquee (the supplier to collaborate with the live streaming company); d. To provide the PA system at the demonstration site with four microphones; e. To provide lighting in the main marquee; f. To provide a qualified technician through the event; g. To provide power cables and plugs (to connect from Kelvin Power Station which is about 100 metres away from the site of the event); h. The supplier will work very closely with the Safety Officer on compliance issues and submit the required electrical safety certification. iv) Catering, cutlery, and crockery (for 180 persons). v) Transportation of guests: a. The service provider must provide 4 x 12- or 14-seater combis to shuttle guests from the main marquee to the demonstration site; b. The vehicles must be road-worthy and driven by people with the relevant driver"s licenses and permits to ferry people; c. The driver must abide by Kelvin Power Station health and safety rules and regulations; d. The company must submit both the driver"s and the vehicle"s licenses when appointed.
