Parliament of RSA requires quotations for Insurance Brokerage Services for a period of 2 years to source Group Life Insurance for approximately 1270 employees, 38 Graduate Trainees. Scope: The Insurance Broker will be expected to: 1. Source a group life assurance scheme for approximately 1270 Parliamentary Service employees; 2. Explain the scope of the cover sought and the relative costs and model of group life scheme; 3. Explain the key features of the proposed group life scheme, including the scope of cover, sum to be insured and indemnity limits, any significant and unusual restrictions, exclusions, obligations and the period of the cover; 4. Ensure the financial soundness of the recommended insurers in terms of, but not limited to, applicable legislations such as Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), their track record and infrastructure, to determine their suitability for appointment; 5. Negotiate the best premium for Parliament; 6. Choosing the most suitable medical scheme in the market, investigating medical aid schemes and options, providing pro-active advice on present medical scheme; 7.
