Re-Advertisement: Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Solar PV Training and Competence: Specifications: - Competence in Solar Photovoltaic System: Theory, Components Selection, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance (SANS 10142-1), - Intensive two-day training to provides the skills necessary for solar power system theory, component selection, installation, testing, maintenance, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting, - The course must provide three Employees with a complete and up-to-date overview of the photovoltaic (PV) field with emphasis on component selection, installation, operation, and maintenance, - Upon the successful completion of this course, the Employees must gain an understanding of the physical phenomena which affect the design of Power systems and methods by which these phenomena can be analysed, as well as the additional requirements which need to be considered in formal specifications to ensure adequate and proper installations. In brief, the course must furnish a confidence to inspect, plan, install, commissioning and maintain a solar PV system and takes into consideration the majority of systems investigating different system configurations, components and operating characteristics. The must course target the aspects which are particular to solar PV systems giving operatives the buoyancy to select install and maintain systems, - Number of learners: 3 (Three) learners.
