Tenders are hereby invited for the following: Provision of A03 hopper chutes repairs for Transnet Port Terminal at Port of Richards Bay. Scope: - Manufacture two off chutes for number 10 and 11 using 404L stainless steel as per drawing also in panels; - Remove the 4 chute panels/sections (one chute assembly at the time) with gates; - Remove the old liners from the two chute panel plates (to be re-installed), clean, inspect for any damage, repair defects, prepare for installation with two new chutes; - Fit 20mm G12 liners (+/- 36 off 1000 x 2000mm sheets) on each panel; - Install the chute panels with the gates, seal the flanges with the sealer and torque all the bolts; - Use M16 bolts on all flanges and M12 on panels; - supply and install 16 off new (UCF 208) gate flange bearings.
