Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a service provider to interpret and translate the CSOS PAIA manual into Sesotho and isiZulu. Scope of work: The successful bidder shall be required to: • Provide translation and interpretation services for the abovementioned document (the entire 22-page document), on a once off basis, using appropriate terminology bearing in mind language accuracy in a scientific context; • Perform terminology research to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all translations and interpretations; • Ensure high quality translation of the document from English to isiZulu and from English to SeSotho and provide same on or before the 31st of March 2024. • Overall quality review; • Technical accuracy review, including confirmation of technical terms and check against other approved translated manuals within the public sector; • Document must be properly laid out; • 100% accuracy, no omissions from source document including but not limited to texts, graphics, footnotes, endnotes, photo captions; • Revision and correction in consultation with CSOS project manager; • Final check and sign off; • Final product provided in appropriate electronic format, black and white ink, including web-ready PDF and print ready files; • Language Requirements: proper and consistent use of tone, grammar, vocabulary and syntax; • Document must free from typos; • All information provided by the CSOS must be treated as business sensitive and confidential.
