The Ndlambe Municipality invites accredited contractors to quote for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of 23000 L diesel tank. Specifications: a) To prepare a 23 000L above ground tank for installation in Port Alfred and connect up existing fuel line, b) To supply 23 000L A/G tank and cradles and install, c) Supply and install galvanised canopy above 23 000L tank, d) Cost of moving and installing tank to be included on quote, e) Removal of old rusted tank must be included in quote, f) Unit must comply with all required safety and security standards and specifications, g) Temporary diesel storage tanks to be erected for the holding of diesel while company is busy installing 23 000L tank to avoid delays in service delivery, h) Project needs to be done by an accredited fuel contractor complying with all safety standards, i) It would be to ensure that the timing is scheduled with a delivery of diesel and that the current stock on hand is at a minimal, approximately 1000L. It must also be noted that the remaining diesel be captured in a fuel bowser and returned to the tank after installation is completed, j) Warranty must be stipulated on the quote to lifespan of the 23000L tank installed.
