Re-Advertisement: Quotations are hereby invited for the appointment of an experienced service provider to source, deliver and install the ventilation items at the site in the town of Leandra, Govan Mbeki Local Municipality, Mpumalanga Province. Specifications: - The Carbon Capture Storage and Utilization (CCUS) Project has two 6m solid containers at its site in the town of Leandra, Govan Mbeki Local Municipality, Mpumalanga Province. The two containers need suitable ventilation installed for human habitation as well as for housing electrical infrastructure for the site’s electrical fence. An experienced service provider is required to source, deliver and install the ventilation items. The service provider is also required to have their own power supply for the installation works. Ventilation specifications: - Ventilation for two 6m solid containers, Units: 2, Quantity: 2, - 4 x Roof turbine ventilators: Stainless steel with non-power hood. Optimal size for a 6m freight container; - 4 x Aluminium 48 inch windows panes (W = 48-inch, H = 30 inch); - 4 x Aluminium doors (W = 36-inch, H = 80 inch). Delivery and installation will be at the site in Leandra. The successful bidder must deliver material as per specification within 4 weeks after the receipt of the official purchase-order and start the work immediately. There successful bidder must inspect the containers to make final measurements prior to the sourcing and installation of the ventilation equipment. Department: Supply Chain Management. Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Removal of sand from tidal pools: Southport and Ramsgate. Specifications: A combination of dredging, water jetting and mechanical means has to be used by service providers to ensure a well cleaned pool and the maximum amount of sea sand has been removed. Water jetting is an important part of Tidal pool cleaning as there are always corners and small spaces where a mechanical bucket cannot effectively scoop sand and would also damage the under lying rock. Water jetting is therefore a non-negotiable process which has to be used by the service provider when removing sea sand from Tidal pools. During the sand removing process the Tidal pool valve must be opened to check its gasket seal for leaks and replace if necessary. The cover plate must be replaced with 4 stainless steel nuts and bolts which are currently in place but in the event of loss the service provider will be required to replace such at his cost. Formal written quotations are hereby invited from suitable service providers to perform actuarial valuations for long services awards and post retirement benefits in line with GRAP 25 for one year. Scope of work: - The reporting framework requires that an actuarial valuation for employee benefits be done at each reporting period. The actuarial valuation method to be used shall be the projected unit credit method as prescribed by the relevant applicable accounting standards to determine the present value of the municipality’s defined benefit obligation, - The actuarial assumptions to be used must be unbiased and mutually compatible. The actuarial valuation must be done for the reporting period and projections for the following year must also be done. The valuation report upon completion must be discussed with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer or any delegated employee. The municipality currently recognizes measure and disclose the following defined benefit obligations: (a) Post-employment benefit: - Post-Retirement Medical Aid Benefits: - The municipality offers post-retirement medical aid benefits to its employees where the municipality continues to pay 60% of the medical aid contribution of a retired employee until the pensioner passes or employee passes away, - The municipality currently has 166 employees belonging to medical aids and 13 retired employees continued medical aid members, (b) Long Service Awards: - The municipality awards long service benefits to its employees with an uninterrupted service of 5 years and thereafter with 5 (five) year intervals based on the following principles: (i) A cash payment which increases with the number of years’ service, and (ii) A number of additional leave days which increases with the number of service years, an employee can utilize the additional leave days as follows: • Take the leave days as vacation, and • Request that the leave days be paid in cash, (c) The successful bidder will also have to evaluate and give advice on any other employee benefits if applicable. 源: ONLINE TENDERS
