Bids are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of service provider to render quality assurance review on the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) internal audit unit within a period of six (6) weeks. Scope of work: The prospective service provider is expected to perform a full external quality assessment of IPID Internal Audit Unit in accordance with The Institute of Internal Audit (The IIA) Standards: - To assess the general compliance with the definition of Internal Auditing; the IIA Code of Ethics; the International Standards for the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF); - To assess the extent to which the Audit framework enables the IPID Internal Audit unit to comply with their Internal Audit Charter and Methodology; - The extent to which the Internal Audit Unit practices are aligned with stakeholders" needs and expectations and; - Make recommendations to enhance the internal audit processes in order to improve the effectiveness of the Internal Audit Unit.
