Specifications: Servicing of operating theatre lights: Bi-annual service (HUTZ model OPL 500): 1. Test light intensity before service using light meter reading and record on Test Certificate; 2. Check all friction brakes on: - Main axle; - Spring arm; - 1st lamp head; - 2nd lamp head; 3. Remove all covers on main axle, check all electrical connections; 4. Remove all covers on lamp heads and check voltage across globes at maximum brightness; 5. Remove all infra-red heat filters and clean; 6. Check focus mechanism in main light and satellite; 7. Adjust focus cable in main lamp for correct tension; 8. Check fluid seals on each lens assembly; 9. Replace lamps and lamp holders (Osram Halogen Display/Optic Lamp 64640 HLX 150W 24V G6.35 NAED54263), Quantity: 12; 10. Re-assemble light and do all functional tests; 11. Perform after-service light meter reading and record on test certificate; 12. Submit test certificate for lights and certificate of service for lights. Required at: Umphumulo Hospital.
