Tenders are hereby invited for the following: Provision of lifeguard services to the Saldanha Bay Municipal Area for the periods 15 December 2024 until 31 January 2025, 15 December 2025 until 31 January 2026, 15 December 2026 until 31 January 2027 including the Easter Weekends for 2025, 2026 and 2027. Scope of works: Lifeguard services on beaches/swimming areas must be provided from 09:00 until 18:00. A minimum of two lifeguards will be required at each beach site and swimming pool at all times for the duration of the contract. Bidders must provide all equipment necessary to fulfil the complete function at all beaches which includes suitably stocked medical equipment box: - First Aid Kit and Infection Control Utilities, - Flippers and Torpedo Buoys (1 set per lifeguard), - Malibu Board, - Binoculars, - Box Line/Reel, - Flags including shark flags, - Communication Equipment, - Whistle (per lifeguard), - Thermometer (to take water temperature), - Blackboard and Chalk (to indicate water temperature), - Containers.
