Re-advertisement: Quotations are hereby invited for the appointment of a facilitator with respect to a roll - out grassroots community mobilisation, coordination and engagements in Richtersveld, Nama-Khoi and Kamiesberg Local Municipalities in the Northern Cape from 18th - 20th September 2024. Scope: The facilitator is required to embark on a pre-community engagement and pathfinding as well as community coordination which includes the identification of key leadership and influence structures in the communities of the targeted local municipalities in order to prepare them for engagements with PASA. This is also to ensure oil and gas sector through the information session is communicated through the correct education and awareness programmes at the grassroots level and that communication is enhanced through a multi-stakeholder engagement process, towards the exploration and production of oil and gas. In addition to mapping leadership structures, the facilitator should conduct a brief analysis of the educational levels of the adult population which is critical for PASA when preparing materials and information to meet local dynamics. The proposed pathfinding process involves extensive travelling, community briefing sessions, stakeholder profiling and development of stakeholder database for PASA, as well as coordinating the necessary logistics. The coordination extends over 20 small communities with a travelling radius averaging between 3000 - 3500 between Cape Town and Port Nolloth.
