Re-Advertisement: Tenders are hereby invited for LV VSD refurbishment for a duration of 5 years. Scope: Medupi Power Station LV Variable Frequency Drives, Soft Starters and Thyristor Bank Controller Refurbishment: - Collect LV VFD, Soft Starters and Thyristor bank Controller from Medupi Power Station and perform incoming inspection; - Dismantle/strip the LV VFD, Soft Starters and Thyristor bank Controller; - Pre-cleaning assessment; Cleaning of the LV VFD, Soft Starters and Thyristor bank Controller; - Post-cleaning Assessment; - Provide an Employer with a detailed Failure Report; - Refurbish/Repair the LV VFD’s, Soft Starters and Thyristor bank Controller; LV VFD’s, Soft Starters and Thyristor bank Controller Repairs: - Replacement of components; - Conduct functionality tests and checks on all power components; - Checks for cracks, broken and missing parts before Assembly; - Records; - Repaired LV VFD’s, Soft Starters and Thyristor bank Controller Delivery; - Inspection & Testing; - Standard Routine Tests; - Performance Tests and checks.
