Quotations are hereby invited to appoint a service provider to provide sand removal services on the boat ramp/slipway and breakwater wall at the Struisbaal Proclaimed Harbour. The Service Provider is required for the provision of services to remove approximately 500 m³ of sand per month from the slipways/boat ramps and south breakwater wall at Struisbaai Proclaimed Fishing Harbour, for a period of four (04) months. The sand must be disposed and pushed to the edge (must not be disposed at the open field) at the western beach. The service provider must also attend to any sand leaks on the road that happens during the time of the project. The removal of sand is needed to restore the required water depths at the slipways. The required sand removal should therefore be done to a level that will accommodate the safe retrieval and launching of vessels in the Struisbaai Proclaimed Fishing Harbour. The service provider will be required to ensure that all sediment deposited on the beach is spread and levelled accordingly. The required sand removal from Struisbaai slipways/boat ramps and breakwater wall will have to result in approximately 500 m³ of sand being removed. (投標 №115837307cn)
