Tenders are hereby invited for the following: Retro-fitting auxiliary status contacts to five 11kv ring main units for Apollo converter station. Scope: - Standardisation, rationalisation and testing of medium voltage ring main units (RMU’s) and RMUs with integrated control plans solutions consisting of remote terminal units (RTU) and defined protected systems. This specification covers Eskom’s requirements for new factory-assembled RMUs and IRTU fitted RMUs that are rated for use on three-phase cable systems for rated voltages from 3.6 kV up to and including 36 kV, and are designed for freestanding indoor or outdoor operation at a rated frequency of 50 Hz.
