Quotations are hereby invited for the following: repairing concrete slabs for power cables at the Port of Richards Bay. Scope: service provider to do civil repairs and replacing concrete slabs: • Supply 50 x reinforced cement slabs 250 x 150 for closing the open cavities Blocks to have lifting hocks • Replace mounting base channels 45m long (100mm x 75mm x 10mm); • Sandblast and paint the channels into TPT spec; • Install reinforced concrete slabs and paint to yellow, including the mounting surrounding; • Install handrailing for a 40m section; • Place rail concrete slabs around the hand railing to protect hand railing; • Paint hand railing and concrete slabs to yellow and black and put reflective tape on both the hand railing and concrete slabs; • Paint a caution line next to the handrailing; • Clean old waste and dispose.
