Quotations are hereby invited for the following: General industrial cleaning of agriport at the Port of Durban for a period of twelve (12) months. Scope: Request the service of cleaning the following: - Dust, spillages, cobwebs, yard, roads, stacks, sheds, storage areas - Service provider to ensure handover is given to the TPT supervisor - Service provider to provide their own cleaning resources, e.g., brooms and spades. - Service provider must provide employees with PPE e.g., disposable overalls, disposable masks, gloves etc. - Preferably staff should consist of males, due to the nature of the work that needs to be conducted and the environment. - Gangs must be provided for 3 shifts on a split of 8 people per shift: (06:00 -14:00) (14:00 -022:00) and (22:00 - 06:00) Monday to Friday. (06:00 -18:00) and (18:00 – 06:00) Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays. - Gangs might be called in to work for 12 hours if required to do so, during the week. - Gangs will be called in as and when required during the week and on weekends. - The maximum lead time required by TPT for this service is 1 day from the time a notice is given to the time a team is on site. - A contract of 12 months is required in the interim.
