The South African Weather Service (SAWS) seeks to appoint a reputable training provider to provide two (2) to three (3) days face-to-face workshop on emotional intelligence in Cape Town for fifteen SAWS employees. The training should be conducted at the service provider’s premises. Scope: The two (2) to three (3) days training session (course content) must at least include but not limited to the following: • Part 1 - Understanding the importance of Emotional Intelligence as an indispensable life skill; • Part 2 - Attaining the knowledge and insight of the competencies of EI; • Part 3 - Self-awareness: Awareness of individual strengths and shortcomings; • Part 4 - Managing own emotions for the benefit of the society; • Part 5 - Application of skills to create alternative solutions-focused thinking patterns; • Part 6 - Emotional intelligence at Work: Developing positive attitudes and appropriate actions in order to find fulfilment in your work and personal life; • Part 7 - Developing more respect and compassion for others irrespective of race, class or gender, etc; • Part 8 - Integration of knowledge to improve resilience power and total well-being; • Part 9 - Relationship building; • Part 10 - Effective communication; • Part 11 - Teamwork; • Part 12 - Team building.
