Quotations are hereby invited for the Inspection of Lifting Equipment’s and Tackles and Load Testing of Lifting equipment at the CSIR Scientia, Kloppersbos, Paardefontein and Cottesloe Campuses for a period of 3 years. The scope of work is as follows: Perform 6 monthly inspection and annual load testing on the following types of lifting equipment’s, according to the relevant SANS regulations (latest), manufacturers specifications for each equipment and as per outlined on the Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993 and Regulations - latest edition (Driven machinery regulation, item 18). The service provider must quote on each line item for inspection & load testing of all lifting equipment’s as per attached Bill of Quantity (BOQ).
