Quotations are hereby invited for the following: dismantle, supply and install 132kv metal oxide primary and secondary lightning arresters at Komatipoort, Graniepoort, Waterval Onder, Sycamore and Airlie 3kv dc substations under Nelspruit depot. Scope of work: Dismantle, supply, and Install 132kV Metal Oxide Primary and Secondary lightning Arresters at Komatipoort, Graniepoort, Waterval Onder, Sycamore and Airlie 3kV DC substations, Under the Control of Depot Engineer, Nelspruit: • Dismantle, remove, and transport the existing Primary lightning Arresters from site to Nelspruit depot; • Supply and install 132kV Metal Oxide Primary lightning arrestors with associated cables in accordance with BBB0845 version 6; • Supply and install 132kv Metal oxide secondary Lightning Arrestors with the steel structure and associated cables in accordance with BBB0845 version 6; • Lightning arresters must be mounted on the cross arm on a mounting Brackets with base insulation; • Lightning arresters must be connected between each phase of the high voltage supply and substation main earth electrode/earth mat.
