Re-advertisement: Tenders are hereby invited for the once-off supply and delivery of 1 x Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) test receiver, an active loop antenna, and a comprehensive training on the use of EMI test receiver at Eskom Research Corona Cage Test Facility. Scope: • Once-off supply and delivery of 1 x Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) Test Receiver and an Active Loop Antenna. The instrument to be supplied and delivered with a copy of Calibration Certificate, and the instrument should have the following: - Manufacturer"s warranty with a minimum duration of three (3) years; - Conformance with ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard; - Full compliance with CISPR 16-1-1 standard; - Operating manual; - Service manual to include, handling, storage, and proper usage requirements, Procedures and schedules for maintenance and servicing, and Calibration intervals; • Comprehensive training on the use of the Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) to be provided to seven (7) Eskom staff on site at the Eskom Research Corona Cage Test Facility. The EMI test receiver needs to have the following technical specifications: • Measurements range up to 3 GHz; • Frequency resolution better than 0.01 Hz; • Internal reference frequency - 1 MHz to 20 MHz in 1 Hz steps; • High spectral purity; • Power supply for antennas/probes; • Very low measurement uncertainty; • Input pulse protection up to DC 30 Mhz; • Nominal RF input 50 Ohms; • Built in preamplifier 9 kHz – 7GHz; • Operating temperature 0 – 40 Degrees Celsius. The EMI test receiver needs to have the following functionality: • Full compliance with CISPR 16-1-1 standard; • Multiple detectors (incl. CISPR-AVG and CISPR-RMS); • The EMC compatibility must be in line with IEC 61326 and CISPR 11 standards; • Frequency scanning with many detectors in parallel; • Fully automatic measurements (preview measurement, data reduction, final measurement); • Auto correction for cable loss and antenna transducers; • Remote Desktop functionality with networking (LAN); • Remote control functionality using LAN; • Digital colour graphical display; • External VGA screen output display; • Impact protection; • Power supply for both 220V AC mains as well as 12/24V DC power supply for portable and travel purpose; • USB data storage; • External SSD storage drive 1TB; • It should be supplied with applicable software for the analysis of the data once downloaded.
