Bids are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a service provider to acquire fire safes to store a UAS transport case of 1000mm x 835mm x 270mm for SPLUMS Office in the Free State province. Scope The specifications cover the following: • Physical and performance requirements of the UAS Safe; • Documentation requirements; • Physical delivery addresses. Physical and Performance Requirements: The UAS Safe shall meet the following physical and performance requirements: • Size: The UAS Safe shall be large enough to store a 1000mm x 835mm x 270mm UAS transport case; • The minimum internal dimensions should be: - Height: > 1700mm; - Width: = 1000mm; - Depth > 380mm; - Door opening width: = 1000mm; • The safe must have two (2) shelves of which the bottom shelve (> 1000mm from the bottom of the safe) should have drawer rails to enable a flat surface that can be pulled out of the safe, with a ceramic top. The racking strips should be removable and have height increments; • Weight Capacity: The UAS Safe shall have a net weight capacity of at least 200kg; • Temperature and Humidity Range: The UAS Safe shall operate in a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C and a humidity range of 0% to 90%; • UAS Safe to be constructed with a double-wall steel that has a fire resistant barrier; • The UAS Safe shall have a locking system to prevent unauthorized access. This locking system should be preferably, a key lock system. Documentation Requirements: The following documentation shall be provided with the UAS Fire Safe: • A user manual that provides instructions on how to use the UAS Safe safely and effectively.
