Bids are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a service provider for the review of tourism development and marketing strategy. Objective: The rationale for this exercise is to develop a strategy and the implementation plan thereof that will enable the Municipality to promote optimally the tourism sector within the Municipality, such that its potential contribution to the local economy can be enhanced. As a basis for the strategy itself, this exercise needs to provide insight into the dynamics of the tourism sector, highlighting its potential and constraints, and most importantly mapping out the intervention mechanisms the Municipality needs to employ to realize its objective of tourism development, as set out in the 2030 Vision.
