        Northamptonshire County Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply of services in respect of a local bus services framework.

        The contracts available via the framework are intended to accommodate the requirement for local bus services to supplement the commercial bus network. Whilst Northamptonshire County Council has no public transport subsidy of its own it has a potential spend of around 1 200 000 GBP per annum from Section 106 funding from developers who assist with local transport around their housing developments as part of planning agreements. Alongside this is also the potential 150 000 GBP per annum spend in conjunction with journeys required by other parties, such as Borough or District Councils.
