Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Rendering of services for travel, car hire and accommodation as and when required. Scope of work: The ERWAT requires domestic and international travel, accommodation and transportation (car rental and shuttle services) details of the requirements are as follows: (a) Air travel: - Planning, arranging and amending air travel bookings through available branch offices and agencies situated inside or outside South Africa; - Negotiating discounts on standard tariffs for air travel with all available airline companies in conjunction with the ERWAT; - Negotiating discounts in travel Rands or credits on accumulated expenditure for air travel with all available airline companies in conjunction with the ERWAT; - Planning and arranging all necessary documentation regarding traveling abroad and throughout all the regions of Africa, i.e. Visa and Foreign exchange. (b) Vehicle rental: - Booking vehicles with car rental companies, both domestic and international and amending any confirmed bookings where necessary. Negotiating discounts on standard tariffs or reduced tariffs with all available companies in conjunction with ERWAT. (c) Accommodation: - Planning, booking and amending accommodation with any hotel group, private hotel or other available establishment, for example guesthouses or boarding-houses; - Negotiating discounts on standard tariffs or reduced tariffs with all available hotel groups, private hotels or other establishments in conjunction with the ERWAT. Re-Advertisement: Amendment to closing date. Bids are hereby invited for the following: Rental of office accommodation for a period of five (5) years. Scope: The travel management services required by the NHC include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Air Travel – Domestic; 2. Air Travel – Regional and International; 3. It is essential that the most cost-effective economic booking be made to address the needs of the NHC; 18. Forex; and 19. Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Metro FM Music Awards 2024 Event Management (Production & Logistics). Scope: The scope of services for the Events Logistics & Production Management shall include without limitation the following: - Development of the Metro FM Music Awards 2024. Guest Experience under the MMA Theme to be developed by creative agency. - Securing and hiring of venue, which shall include parking arrangements Prior to making venue bookings, the Supplier shall obtain SABC’s prior written approval as well as power back-up contingency. - Securing of pitch protector (7 days rental) and pitch rehabilitation for the stadium. - Venue set-up, décor & catering at the venue for all invited guests. - Sourcing and management of plus/minus 400 goodie-bags for MMA – companies to propose contents in line with the event and provide options. The Supplier shall obtain SABC’s prior written approval on the contents of the goodie-bag. - Attend to the invitation of guests to be invited by Metro FM, RSVP’s and the registration process of guests (Clear demonstration of a Guest Management System). - Appoint and manage the catering crew during the event as well as the after party. - Booking of transport, flights for plus minus 1200 guests (including talent and crew) that need to be transported to the province. - Booking of accommodation for plus minus 1200 guests (including talent and crew) that need to be accommodated. - Ensuring that the guests have been supplied with their travel details and accommodation two weeks prior their departure date. - Provide transportation for the guests from the airport to the hotel (when required), to the venue and back to the hotel. - Attend to the transportation and accommodation of the working crew. - Provide transportation for the guests from the hotel back to the airport. - Be responsible for researching of the Outside Broadcasts spots at the venue. - Be responsible for organizing the after awards party including venue, décor, open bar and catering (not limited to). - Budget monitoring and final reporting which shall include securing and finalization of quotations and budget recon. - Development of the Metro FM Music Awards 2024 production concept. - Overseeing the smooth running and co-ordination of the Awards ceremony. - Attendance to the technical production in tandem with the TV Production Crew from Video Entertainment with respect to the awards in the form of: • Set and stage design, including hiring and setting up thereof; • Demonstrate the ability to utilize modern stage technology and innovative production ideas that will deliver a first class event; • Lighting & pyrotechnics design, including hiring setting up and obtaining required compliance certificates thereof; • Sound hire and set up; • Audio Visual (AV) hire and set up. Bids are hereby invited for the appointment of a service provider to facilitate capacity building workshops for unemployed teachers and life orientation teachers to be trained as career development/guidance practitioners, conduct workshops and production of training material for a period of two years. The Service provider responsibility is. - To recruit beneficiaries/learners and facilitate 40 Workshops in four provinces for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 years; - To liaise with the Department of Basic Education provincial life orientation coordinators in the recruitment of life orientation teachers to attend workshops; - To facilitate and manage the logistics of recruitment for unemployed teachers; - To conduct each workshop for a period of a day (09h00-15h00). The service provider can, based on resources available conduct more than one workshop on a particular day in the same or different province; - To design, content develop and manage (review the current BANKSETA training manual and update content relevant to career guidance training), print and the upload electronic version on USBs training material content; - To design, content develop and print attendance certificates; - To secure venues and provide catering services for the workshops; - To manage the RSVP process/facility using various communication campaign methods (invitation (1), reminders (1),confirmations (2) through bulk messaging or any other communication platform to reach prospective attendees); - To provide a close out report of the workshops which must include excel (BANKSETA to submit the DHET quarterly report template in the kick-off meeting) and attendee/participants signed PDF attendance registers, Identity/passport copies of beneficiaries, equity targets, evaluation form report, challenges and lesson learnt per quarter; - Design, print and issue certificates of attendance; - The service provider should ensure that any accommodation booking and renting of cars be in line with the Treasury cost containment measures and not be above that of three (03) star rated level.
