Quotations are hereby invited for the Supply of Safety related equipment: 3 each x mass decontamination system. Specifications: Mass decontamination shower unit that allows for rapid response in a hazardous material decontamination scenario. To include the complete inflatable shower structure system with removable internal partitioning and raised floor, that provides for splash containment and personal privacy. To limit weight and promote transport and compact storage, the unit must not include a mechanical framework. Features to include: Compact and easily transportable; Lightweight and quick set-up to facilitate rapid operational readiness and to remain standing without continuous inflation; Unit must be suitable for use on hard or soft standing with minimum four affixed guy ropes provided, for securing in position during inclement weather; Entrance and exit zippered roll-up doors with a separate curtain fitted to promote privacy; Flexible internal partitioning with pre and post decontamination changing areas; Internal layout to be partitioned into three lanes for male, female & assisted casualties, with pre and post decon changing areas; Partitions must be removable and doors able to be linked together allowing the shower to be configured as a single, double or triple lane system; To be fitted with windows on internal shower doors with covers and the assisted (central) lane door must include a zipped flap for transferring medical equipment; To include raised floor panels in shower that prevent contact with contaminated shower wash-off; Wash off must be collected in a chemically resistant sump; Integral detachable groundsheet; Sleeves for portable air heaters and pumped extraction of contaminated water to be incorporated into the design. Sleeves must be included; Shower nozzles must all be of demand type and can be turned on/off individually; Output flow of shower heads must be no more than 20 litres per minute each; Shower system to have two separate water feeds allowing introduction of water treated with a cleanser or neutralising agent; Four internal and four external shut-off taps to be fitted for individual control of front and rear, left and right-hand side water supply; Fitted with at least two internal spring loaded inflation/deflation ports that allow the use of ARS (automatic refilling system) inflators for extended deployments. Ports fitted with dust/water cap and the filling hose and connection to be included; Working pressure approximately 0.5 bar; Unit to be manufactured of PU material of minimum 900g/m²; Lightweight and easily portable in PVC cover/s fitted with handles and closures, to be included; Inflated height of unit not to exceed 2200mm; Unit weight not to exceed 100kg; Colour: predominant yellow upper with black or grey basin and ground sheet; System design allows for minimal training, servicing and maintenance costs. To be supplied with: Valise; Repair kit; Inflation hose - 1m (for use with 8 bar regulator); Accessories kit bag, containing galvanised ground fixing pegs, rubber mallet and hand pump, Non-slip self-draining matting, Electric inflator.
