Addendum: Amendment to the tender document and Extension of the Closing Date: Bids are hereby invited for the following: Olifantspoorts and Ebenezer Refurbishment Phase 1A: Electromechanical refurbishment of Olifantspoort Pump Stations (PS1, PS2 & PS3) and Ebenezer Water Treatment Works and Pump Station. The nature of works for this project includes, among others, the following activities: a) Site Establishment; b) Site clearance; c) Rehabilitation of access road to WTW/Pump Station 1; d) Refurbishment works within the pump stations (PS 1, 2 and 3); e) Refurbishment works within the Ebenezer Scheme; f) Replacement of all high lift pumps and their associated valves and pipework. All suction and delivery site isolating valves to be electrically actuated; g) Replacement of all auxiliary mechanical systems including cooling water pumps (all pump stations), service water pumps (only in PS 1) and their associated pipe work and valves; h) Maintenance and load testing of gantry; i) Replacement of all high lift pump motors and installed of variable frequency/speed drives; j) Maintenance and testing of all high lift pump MV switchgear; k) Automation of the entire pump station including upgrading existing instrumentation PLC and HMI systems and SCADA systems; l) Upgrading of the telemetry systems; m) Replacement and installation of power and control cables; n) Upgrading of low voltage boards and MCC panels; o) Minor pump station building modifications including painting, small power and lighting; p) Construction of VFD/VSD substation building to house new VFDs/VSDs; q) Specialist MV protection studies; earthing and lightning protection studies; r) Coordination and planning for shutdown with the Employer and the Consumers; s) OH&S; t) Environmental Management; u) Community Liaison and stakeholder management.
